FAMILY NEWS
GRANDMA COOK (GMC OR MAW COOKIE) – is plugging away with the aches and pains of “old age.” She’s enjoying the many visits of children and grandchildren—so keep coming!

LES & JANEY: Thanks to all who donated to the Adolphus Rennie Whitehead headstone replacement project.  I have collected $2075 so far and it looks like we will be able to do a replica of the original stone and place a separate stone for each wife.  I have a meeting with Jon Staples on Monday who is in a Stake Presidency that borders Lyndon's stake and he is a relative.  He and his family have been writing children's' books about our ancestors. He sent me a digital version of the one for George Goddard. I am looking for small donations from others that would like to donate.  I would like to get it all done by April 10 with a desire to have the stone installed on June 10 if it is possible.  I will make final arrangements with the monument company when I have the funds in hand.  There is a Linda Johnston in St. George, who descends from George Frank Whitehead, a son of Adolphus Rennie Whitehead, who would like to have a get together in St. George when we know for sure when the monument is placed a date will be set.
Keith has been accepted into the Instrumentation and Automation program at ISU.  He has been in school for a semester doing basic course work in Math, English, etc. and will start the program in the fall.

DARRYL & MARY: Baby Congratulations—Debbie, Jesse and Evelyn welcomed--

Justin and Heidi--Sometimes no news is good news. Justin just repaired the leg on our piano this week. He had it laying on its back and in pieces. It was a great relief when the project was complete.

Zac and Jen--We are doing really great. We have Owen in school and just started William with a couple of new programs. We are working on selling our house and are anxiously awaiting the news on a house we are hoping to move into by early July. Owen is 4 and extremely busy! He loves to play and run and we have no doubts that he will be on a track team when he gets older, he is our exercise program. William is loving to jump and so we are excited to have our trampoline up and getting some energy out. They both love the water and so we may spend some time at the local pool this summer. Zac is almost done with his masters project and then keeping busy with work and side jobs. He is a great dad and I love watching him teach and play with our kiddos. I keep busy with schedules and housekeeping and just enjoying life. I thought I would send some pictures as well.

CRAIG & JAYLYNE:                  Wedding Announcement
Richard Craig Reynolds and Courtney Ahrens
May 11, 2013
Logan, UT Temple

Travis and Andrea--We are still working on fixing up after an interesting plumbing experience.  The kitchen drain lines had two or three large holes and the pipe was completely disintegrated for about a foot.  (Cast iron pipes only last 40-50 years).  Unfortunately, because of the ducting work that was put in near the drain lines, some of the heating ducts were also ruined.  Naturally, all of this ducting/pipe was in the cement slab and so we had the exciting experience of having our floor jackhammered out.  We were without water in the kitchen for about 2 weeks.  We are still in the process of re-tiling.  Then we will have to replace the kitchen countertop which cracked when we were trying to remove it, and fix some sheetrock and the stair case.  In the meantime, we have had to replace a toilet, and a dishwasher thermostat.  Hurrah for homeownership?!  The girls are enjoying gymnastics, soccer, and track.  Andrea is trying to keep dinner somewhat healthy and balanced with all of the evening activities.  Travis is of course the one engaged in all of the aforementioned home repairs.

Sarah--The divorce finalized on March 6th.  I will be moving back to Pocatello next week. (Thank you to Richard and Courtney for helping me empty my storage unit and taking my stuff to my parents!  Thank you Darryl for lending your truck to move my bed!)  I will be staying with my Grandma Reynolds and studying for the American Association of Medical Assistant's certification exam and taking it as soon as possible.  Other than therapy and looking for work, after the wedding and taking my test (hopefully passing with flying colors), I am unsure as to where I'll go or what I'll do.  Your continued prayers and support are much needed and appreciated.

RANDY & JOANNE are “visiting” in Idaho for a few weeks (Randy is there on business).
Nate, Tiana, James and Virginia  have relocated to Bonners Ferry, Idaho--now the fun of real life begins--and it just gets better and better--Congratulations!
Matt, Lindsay and Benson are heading to Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (Missouri)!

KEN & KARLEEN are heading to Utah April 16th to babysit, visit with the Amber, Courtney, James and Jesse--oh! and to attend Courtney's BYU graduation (Elementary Education)!
